Jimmy Ellis Lead Singer Of The Trammps Dies

The lead singer of The Trammps – Jimmy Ellis died on Thursday 8th March 2012 aged 74.

The Trammps were a Philadelphia based group formed in the 70’s who had numerous hits in the disco era. Most famously they were featured in the sound track of Saturday Night Fever featuring John Travolta, with their most successful hit Disco Inferno.
